Today I am here with Mrs. Gaetano, one of the 6th grade green team ELA teacher doing a Q&A!

Why did you choose to become an ELA teacher?
“I know I wanted to be an ELA teacher because and reading and writing was always my strongest subject, and I wanted to be able to share that and inspire you guys!”
How many years have you been teaching ELA?
“This is my 11th year teaching 6th grade ELA.”
In your years of teaching what have been your favorite memories?
“My favorite memories in teaching are when a student finishes a book when they didn't think they would finish it, and then they were encouraged to read more books out of their comfort zone.”
What is some advice you would give to people who may want to become an ELA teacher?
“Some advice for people who might want to be an ELA teacher is to know that it can be challenging, but the reward makes it worth it.”
What else do you like to do outside of teaching?
“Outside of teaching, I like to read – I read all the time. I also like to run, and I like to go to my daughters’ sporting events.”
What advice would you give to young people today?
“Some advice I would give to young people today is to never give up and to always look up to your goals, even if you think you might not achieve them.”
And that was Mrs. Gaetano the 6th grade green team ELA teacher with her outstanding Q&A. She is truly one amazing teacher.
