Members of the Colonial Technology Student Association (TSA) were honored on June 16. Twenty-one high school and 21 middle school students attended the state conference and many of them brought home awards in team and individual events. Plymouth Whitemarsh High School student Dylan Renner was honored at the May 19 School Board meeting for winning a Gold Medal in the SkillsUSA state competition. Dylan, who is also a student at Central Montco Technical High School, won for his work in the Video, Sound and Music Production category. Click here to read more.
George Hankins was recognized at the May 19 School Board meeting for winning the grand prize in the middle school category of the Citadel Heart of Learning Award. Mr. Hankins is a teacher at Colonial Middle School. Learn more about his award by cliciking here.
Members of the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Unified Bocce team were honored at the May 19 meeting for placing second in the PIAA Eastern State Finals held in March 2022. Read more about the team by clicking here.
Ethan Verlin and Emma Manley were honored at the May 19 meeting for serving as Student Representatives to the Board for the 2021-22 school year. Both students made monthly reports about events and initiatives taking place at each school in the District.

The Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Chamber Ensemble performed for the School Board at the March 17 meeting as part of Music in Our Schools Month.
On March 17, 2022, the School Board honored Eric Abramowitz and Marc Ost from Eric's RX Shoppe for their work in bringing vaccine clinics to the families of Colonial School District. Eric's RX partnered with the District to help vaccinate approximately 1,600 people in the community against COVID-19.
The 2021 Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Varsity Baseball Team was honored at the October 21, 2021 School Board meeting for winning the Suburban One League Championship (Liberty Division).
Plymouth Whitemarsh High School students Sophia Kosvitch, Zach Porter, and Ava Suarez were honored at the Oct. 21, 2021 School Board meeting for achieving the status of Semi-Finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program.
Also recognized were Plymouth Whitemarsh High School students Fiona Gooneratne, Alex Halbert, and Nate Schindler for achieving the status of Commended Student in the National Merit Scholarship Program.
