Board Recognitions Gallery 2022-23 Each month, the Colonial School District Board of Directors recognizes students, faculty/staff, and others who have represented or partnered with the school district in a positive way. Members of the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Cheerleading Team were honored Sept. 15 for winning a number of awards at the Universal Cheerleading Association's Pine Forest Cheer Camp.

Plymouth Whitemarsh High School students Evan Rosenstein and Rhianna Gooneratne were honored at the Nov. 17 meeting for their outstanding golf seasons.
Members of the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Volleyball Team were recognized at the Jan. 19, 2023 Board meeting for winning the Suburban One League Championship and for having an undefeated season.
Members of the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School varsity girls basketball team were honored at the March 16, 2023 meeting for their outstanding season. The team finished with a 20-2 overall record, won its fourth straight Liberty Division title, its second straight Suburban One League Tournament Championship and was ranked one of the state's top 20 teams. Coach Dan Dougherty spoke about the team's accomplishments as well as the individual accomplishments of outgoing seniors, including Erin Daley and Abby Sharpe, who both scored their 1,000th point during the course of the season.
Members of the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Clarinet Crew perform for the School Board at the March 16, 2023 meeting. The performance was one of several to celebrate Music In Our Schools Month. Newly-elected members of the Tri-M National Honor Society thanked the Board for its support of the music program and helped unveil the Music Department's new logo.
The Plymouth Whitemarsh High School boys basketball team was recognized at the April 20th School Board meeting for its outstanding season. The team clinched the Suburban One League Championship and District One Championship.

Plymouth Whitemarsh High School seniors Olivia Prusky and Emma Freedman were honored for serving as student representatives to the School Board. The two students attended Board meetings regularly to share information with school directors about school events and initiatives.
Central Montco Technical Career Center students Ana Karen Seynos Alonso and Karlie Picard were honored at the June 15 School Board meeting for winning medals in the district level SkillsUSA competition. Ana, who was not present at the meeting, was recognized for winning third place in restaurant service, while Karlie was recognized for winning first place in cake decorating. Because of her first-place win at the district level, Karlie went on to compete at the state level, where she won a bronze medal. Tanya Prickitt, Colonial Middle School math teacher, shakes the hand of Dr. Michael Christian, Superintendent, during the June Board meeting. Mrs. Prickitt was recognized by the Board for having received the Citadel Heart of Learning Grand Prize Award this year.
