Plymouth Whitemarsh High School senior Jason Lee will be attending the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and hopes to become an engineer.

Jason Lee is seen here with his parents, Jae and William Lee.

Jason decided to pursue a military career because his father was a Marine and his uncle served in the Army. He is looking forward to the unique experiences the academy will offer him, and the relationships that he will form.

“I wanted to serve and live with a purpose,” he said.

Jason’s time at Plymouth Whitemarsh has prepared him for the next step because he was able to study a variety of sciences, which he did well in and hopes to study once he gets to the academy. He also took advantage of the many extra-curricular offerings the high school has to offer.

He is a member of the indoor/outdoor track teams, the International Cultural Awareness Club, the Principal’s Leadership Council, and National Honor Society.
