Pennsylvania’s senior citizens, widows aged 50 or older, and permanently disabled residents aged 18 or older qualify for state tax rebates if they are:
- homeowners with an annual household income below $35,000
- renters with an annual household income below $15,000.
(Half of Social Security income is excluded for both owners and renters.) The standard state rebate is $650, but you may be eligible for additional rebates, as well.
If you were eligible for state tax relief this year using the Form PA-1000, you may have either recently received your state rebate or will be receiving it soon. Residents who qualify for that rebate also qualify to receive a rebate from Colonial School District equal to 75% of the state rebate amount.
Once you have received your state rebate check, send a copy of the check or proof of the direct deposit, a duplicate copy of your Form PA-1000, and supporting materials confirming your income to:
Colonial School District Business Office
230 Flourtown Road
Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462
When all of the required information is received and verified, the Colonial School District will issue a rebate check equal to 75% of the standard state rebate amount.
