Plymouth Whitemarsh High School senior Amanda Conti has signed to be a swimmer with Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.

She is a sprint free swimmer and has been a state qualifier. She has been a swimmer since the age of 6, and is coming up on her 12th season. She said the lessons she has learned along the way will help her when she gets to college.

“I like how swimming pushes me to be my best every day,” said Amanda, who is also a member of the Upper Dublin Aquatic Club.

Amanda plans to major in biology, and is looking forward to competing at a higher level once she gets to Sacred Heart.
