The Plymouth Whitemarsh High school Girls Basketball team is continuing to bring home the accolades after their 34-0 run to the State Championship.

The PA Sports Writers honored more members of the PWHS Girls Basketball team on the All-State roster than any other team in the history of the listing. Kaitlyn Flanagan and Abby Sharpe were named First Team All-State, Lainey Allen landed on the Second Team All-State, and Erin Daley made the Third Team All-State.

The group also named Head Coach Dan Dougherty Coach of the Year.

Closer to home, The Reporter/Times Herald/Montgomery News named all five starters to the All-County Teams — a first for girls' or boys' basketball in All-Montco history. Joining Player of the Year Kaitlyn Flanagan on the First Team were Lainey Allen and Abby Sharpe. Jordyn Thomas and Erin Daley were named to the Second Team.

The PWHS Girls Basketball team will also be heading to Harrisburg on May 23 for a meet and greet with Governor Wolf, a luncheon, and a presentation on the floor of the Pennsylvania Senate.
