During Morning Meetings and specialist lessons, the students explored the history, culture and contributions of Hispanic Americans.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee
During the 2019-2020 school year, the Colonial School District established the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, who has been charged with looking at five areas of the District with a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion lens.
Those areas are:
- Human Resources/Staff Recruitment
- Student Life
- Professional Development
- Community Outreach
The committee is working with a consultant, Dr. Bruce Campbell from Arcadia University.
