Whitemarsh Elementary School

Kindergarten

Welcome to Kindergarten at Whitemarsh Elementary!

Your child will need a large backpack (it must be big enough to carry a folder and a few books) and their team color folder each day (you will get the folder at orientation, please be sure to label it with their first and last name on the front cover).

  • 2 large glue sticks
  • 2 black dry erase markers (Expo brand only – must specify low-odor markers)
  • 1 8-pack Crayola THICK markers
  • 1 8-pack Crayola THIN markers
  • 1 box of 24 Crayola crayons

Please send these items to school with your child during the first week or two of school. When you send in things from home to school, it is a good idea to have your children put the item(s) in their backpack themselves. Before your children leave for school, it would also help to give them a reminder take out any item(s) and give them to me when unpacking their backpacks in the morning.

One last thing, remind your children to bring their smile, a positive attitude and their imagination to school each day!

Thank you!

The Kindergarten Team
