EILEEN CARR, PRINCIPAL

Ms. Eileen Carr was appointed the new principal at Ridge Park (RP) Elementary School in June. She had served as principal of the Shawmont School, a K-8 school in Roxborough.

Ms. Carr has served on the Principal Selection Committee for The School District of Philadelphia and was selected as a Neubauer Fellow for the 2015-2016 school year. Neubauer Fellows are select, high-performing principals who demonstrate competency in setting a school-wide vision, create a school culture that develops and engages staff, focus on student achievement, identify instructional practices and more.

Ms. Carr holds a B.S. from Temple University and a M.Ed. from Arcadia University. She earned her Principal Certif cation at Cheyney University.
