Get involved with one of the library media center's clubs.

Book Club

Read the club's selected book and discuss it during weekly meetings. Club members often bring snacks to share and exchange ideas for what to read next.

  • Meetings every Tuesday during B-Block
  • Read YA books before they're even published and give feedback to authors and publishers, through the club's participation in YALSA's Teens' Top Ten list

Reading Olympics

Work with teammates to read books from a designated list and then compete against teams from other schools in a head to head book trivia contest

  • Meetings once a month during B-Block (Fridays)
  • Annual competition occurs in March (one day, after school)

PWHS Makerspace 

Create, explore, experiment, imagine, build, learn and tinker.  Learn to use various materials in physical and virtual environments, using technology that may not be found in typical classrooms. Engage in learning experiences to extend learning, explore individual interests, or developing a creative project for a class.

PW Cupid's Cuties

Love is in the air! ❤️

Valentine's Day is around the corner, and the 2023 PWHS Cupid's Cuties roses sale is currently underway. 

Are you interested in sending a beautifully wrapped package of wooden, keepsake roses to a PW student and/or faculty member via one of this year's Cupid's Cuties seniors? 

Click here to fill out the order formsend your payment to the Main Office LABELED with "Cupid's Cuties" and your name on the envelope, and the flowers will be delivered to your recipient on Valentine's Day. 

All orders must be received by Sunday, February 12th at midnight. All proceeds support PWHS Student Council initiatives and scholarships.
