Colonial School District Education Foundation kicks off annual campaign to help fight student hunger
With food insecurity topping national news, we want to share how a donation to the Colonial School District Education Foundation’s Food For Thought campaign can help hungry children right here in our community.
Last year, your generous support made a big difference:
-
6,000 lunches were provided for children whose families narrowly missed qualifying for free meals.
-
$10,000 in grocery store gift cards were distributed to help families purchase food for the weekends.
This year, even more families are struggling with food insecurity. To help cover the growing need, we’re starting the Food For Thought campaign two weeks earlier and have upped our goal to $15,000.
Your donation, no matter the size, goes directly to ensuring all of our students have nutritious meals every day of the week.

Together, we can make sure no child in our community goes hungry.
