SUN Bucks program aims to assist families with summer meals

A new federally-funded program called SUN Bucks is available to families who may need assistance in feeding their families over the summer months.

Summer EBT, or "SUN Bucks," has been authorized by a bipartisan U.S. Congress to provide food dollars to low-income families with school-aged children during the months school is out. Gov. Shapiro's administration announced that the Commonwealth would participate in this program starting this year. 

Students are automatically eligible if the qualify for free or reduced-price school meals. For more information, please click here to visit our webpage.
