Seven Plymouth Whitemarsh High School students named National Merit Scholarship Program Finalists
Seven Plymouth Whitemarsh High School seniors have made it the Finalist round of the National Merit Scholarship Program.
Congratulations to Myles Kaye, Ronald Keene, Dhruv Patel, Akhil Roy, Noah Smith, Andrew Szperka, and Kozeli Thakali, who are among the elite group of 15,000 students nationally who are now eligible to receive a Merit Scholarship.
To become a Finalist, students must have already been named a Semifinalist based on their scores on the 2023 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). All seven of PW's students were named as Semifinalists this past fall. To move on to the Finalist category, students submitted detailed scholarship applications that include information about their academic records, participation in school and community activities, leadership abilities, employment, and awards/honors received.
