Seven Plymouth Whitemarsh High School students achieve National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalist status

Seven Plymouth Whitemarsh High School seniors have joined an elite group of more than 16,000 students nationally who were named Semifinalists in the 70th annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

Semifinalists represent less than 1 percent of U.S. high school seniors and are the highest-scoring students in each state based on scores from the 2023 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

Congratulation to the following students:

Myles Kaye

Ronnie Keene

Dhruv Patel

Akhil Roy

Noah Smith

Andrew Szperka

Koseli Thakali

All seven students can apply to become a Finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program. To become a Finalist, students must submit a detailed scholarship application including information about the student’s academic record, participation in school and community activities, leadership abilities, employment, and awards and honors received.
