Plymouth Whitemarsh High School teacher Jill Ruggiero featured by Best Buddies organization

Best Buddies in Pennsylvania has featured Plymouth Whitemarsh High School math teacher Jill Ruggiero on its website through an article that celebrates her impact.

Mrs. Ruggiero, who started working as an advisor to the Best Buddies club at the high school last year, assists the 34 members of the club in organizing activities and events. The club pairs neurotypical students with students who have disabilities and is meant to foster inclusion and friendship. Some of the club’s events this past year included constructing plastic mats for a local homeless organization, a Buddy Bowling outing, Trick or Treat with Autism Wings, and the Annual Best Buddies Friendship Walk in April.
