Incoming ninth-graders receive warm welcome

Incoming ninth-graders receive warm welcome

Plymouth Whitemarsh High School's incoming ninth-graders and new students were greeted with warmth and excitement by their fellow peers and faculty/staff during an orientation event held Aug. 20.

The Class of 2028 had the opportunity to learn about life at PW, student resources, Bonus Block, technology, and the academic program. Students also got to tour the building with Orientation Leaders, who also entertained the students with a performance in the afternoon. Class advisors Jeff Kavanaugh and Margie Delaney spoke with students and encouraged them to get involved.

At the conclusion of the event, new students attended the Activities Fair in the cafeteria, where they learned about the plethora of extra-curricular opportunities that are available to high school students.
