Digital citizenship assembly encourages students to maintain a good digital footprint

by Samara Chew, PWHS Class of 2026

Plymouth Whitemarsh High School recently welcomed national technology speaker Paul Sanfrancesco. Mr. Sanfrancesco talked to the students about the importance of maintaining a good digital footprint and being conscious of the things that they post on social media.

As someone who has worked in college admissions before, Mr. Sanfrancesco warned students that the things that they post could even interfere with their chances of getting into a college of their choice.

PW senior Tiffany Molinaro stated that “the speaker really changed my perspective on how important it is to keep a good digital footprint.”

Mr. Sanfrancesco has worked for over 30 years in the fields of education and instructional technology.
