Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

Plymouth Whitemarsh High School honored the accomplishments of the Class of 2026 during the Commencement ceremony held on June 10 in the stadium.

This year’s ceremony featured speeches by Dr. Michael Christian (Superintendent), Dr. Jason Bacani (Principal), and an address to students from senior Narayan Sakthinathan. Class President Alyssa Jolie Avery presented the class gift.

Here are some interesting facts about this year’s graduating class: 

  • 406 students accepted diplomas
  • 90 percent are going to four- or two-year colleges/universities (73 percent to four-year institutions and 17 percent to two-year institutions)
  • 10 percent are going into the military, entering the job market, or considering options through a gap year
  • The Class of 2026 received a one year total of $5,045,966 in scholarships and a four-year total of $19,434,079.
  • 40 percent of the class graduated with a weighted cumulative GPA of 4.0 or higher
  • The Class of 2025 includes seven National Merit Scholarship Program Commended Students and three National Merit Scholarship Program Finalists.
