Congratulations to the Class of 2025!
Plymouth Whitemarsh High School celebrated the accomplishments of the Class of 2025 during Commencement held on June 11 at Colonial Field.
This year’s ceremony featured speeches by Class of 2025’s Sierra Tirendi, Dr. Michael Christian (Superintendent), and Dr. Jason Bacani (Principal). Poet Laureate Gianna Morgan-Johnson and Class President Carley Lefkowitz also presented.
Here are some interesting facts about this year’s graduating class:
- 402 students accepted diplomas
- 91 percent are going to four- or two-year colleges/universities (80 percent to four-year institutions and 20 percent to two-year institutions)
- 9 percent are going into the military, entering the job market, or considering options through a gap year
- The Class of 2025 received over $9.3 million in scholarships
- 38 percent of the class graduated with a weighted cumulative GPA of 4.0 or higher
- The Class of 2025 includes nine National Merit Scholarship Program Commended Students, five National Merit Scholarship Program Finalists, and two National Merit Scholarship Program Recipients.
