William Jeanes Memorial Library offers summer programs for teens starting in June

William Jeanes Memorial Library is proud to offer a variety of programs aimed at teens this summer. Please read on for some of the options:

Teen Summer Reading Challenge - June 14-Aug. 9

  • Draw from the prize jar every time you:
  • log a minimum of two hours of reading per week
  • attend one program per week
  • write a book review on Beanstack
  • refer a friend

Sketchbook Sessions - Tuesdays starting June 17, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Special guest artists will be on hand to help with cartoon drawing, realism, character design, watercolor and more. No registration is required.

Teen Improv - Thursdays, starting June 18, from 6 to 7 p.m.

Teens in grades 6-12 can learn from Marcely Jean-Pierre. No experience necessary and no registration required.

Teen Cafe - Mondays, starting June 2, from 6 to 7 p.m.

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to take part in weekly craft activities and enjoy snacks. No registration required.

Teen Writing Workshop - Wednesdays, starting June 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Learn how to write from Robin Gow, author of "Ode to My First Car," and "Mothman." No registration required.
