Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library is offering a variety of programs for children.

Baby Bounce & Rhyme Storytime- Drop in enjoy songs, stories, rhymes, and fingerplays for baby and you! Intended for ages 0-24 months with a caregiver. 

S.T.E.A.M. Train- Inventions, science experiments, building challenges, art, robots, and more. Walk-ins accommodated if there’s room. Ages 6-12. (REGISTRATION REQUIRED) Register online.

Evening Storytime- Come in your jammies! Stories, songs, rhymes and activities for children ages 2-6 with a caregiver.

Mini Makers- Preschoolers explore simple S.T.E.A.M. concepts such as science, building, math, and art! For ages 3-5 with a caregivers. (REGISTRATION REQUIRED) Register online.

Shake & Boogie- Explore music and movement with songs, dance, instruments, and more! Intended for ages 2-5 with a caregiver.

Crafting Corner- Create a different craft each week using a variety of materials! Ages 5-12

Wee Readers Storytime- Stories, songs, rhymes, and activities for children ages 2-5 with a caregiver.

Journey Through Time- Participate in an interactive, time-travel-themed game where kids “travel” through key moments in American history. Each station will represent a different historical event or figure, and children will solve challenges or create crafts related to that time period. Bring history to life with fun, hands-on activities, exploring events like the American Revolution, the Civil War, and other significant moments in U.S. history. For ages 6-12. (REGISTRATION REQUIRED) Register online.

Alphadoodles- Practice writing, tracing, and recognizing letters and numbers. Create fun images and enjoy coloring, stickers, and more! Intended for ages 2-6.

Kids' Game Day- Drop in for a fun afternoon of Nintendo Mario Kart! For ages 5-12.

Doggone Good Readers!-Did you know dogs love to hear stories! Come read to one in the library! Judgement-free read-aloud practice for new and/or struggling readers. Ages 5-12.

LEGO Free Build- Drop in to build and create independently and with other LEGO lovers. Ages 4-12.

Program space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For groups of 5 or more, please call ahead.  Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
