PWHS Track & Field Team's strong showing at League Championship sends 19 to Districts
Nineteen members of the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Track and Field team have qualified for the PIAA District 1 Championships after a strong showing in the Suburban One League Liberty Conference Championships On May 10-11 at Hatboro-Horsham High School.
Several Colonials brought home first place medals from the league competition, including: Ciara Frederic (girls 100-meter dash), Ella Catania (girls 200-meter dash), Serenity Spriggs (girls high jump), Bryant McKay (boys 100-meter dash), Daniel Ajuz (boys long jump), and Cole Ashbridge (boys shot put). Individual athletes from PWHS scored their Season’s Best in thirty of the events.
