Plymouth Whitemarsh High School baseball team wins Suburban One League Championship

The Plymouth Whitemarsh High School baseball team captured the Suburban One Liberty Division Championship with an 8-7 win over Wissahickon on May 5, 2026. Senior Dominic Criscuolo hit a double down the right field line that scored junior Brandon Wooldridge from first base and gave the team the extra innings win. It is the 15th league title for the Colonials in program history, and the third in the last seven seasons. This will also mark the eighth consecutive season that the Colonials have qualified for the PIAA District I playoffs.

The team finished the regular season with a 14-6 overall record, and a 10-5 record in league play. Junior Brody Stump set an all time program benchmark for hits in a season with 38 hits, including 13 doubles, 2 triples, and 3 home runs. Junior Mason Eagland (.357), sophomore Lucas Fresta (.345), and junior Max Eagland (.345) joined Stump to lead a Colonials offense that combined to hit just shy of .300 as a team for the season. Sophomore right handed pitcher Bobby Pasquarello anchored the pitching staff, going 5-1 with a 1.52 ERA and striking out 41 hitters in 36 innings.

The Colonials will begin the PIAA District I playoffs at home on May 18th at 4pm against an opponent to be determined.
