· Info Session: Teen Summer Volunteering - Monday, June 10 – 6:00pm

Are you in grades 6-12* and are interested in volunteering at the Library this summer? You’re in luck! The Library is looking for responsible and mature teens to volunteer with the Children’s Summer Reading Club in the Children’s Department. Tasks will include registering kids for the Children’s Summer Reading Club, logging hours, handing out prizes, and other tasks directed by staff. Volunteering will start at the end of June and finish near the middle of August. If you are interested in this opportunity, come to one of our info sessions! There will be three info sessions; you only need to attend one. Please “register” online so we know who to expect. Info session dates: Friday, May 24th from 1-2pm; Monday, June 10th from 6-7pm; Friday, June 14th from 3:30-4:30pm. Teens who volunteered with this project last summer should attend the info session as some aspects of the project has changed. *Grades 6-12 means that you will be entering those grades in the fall. So if you are currently a 5th grader and will be in 6th grade in the fall of 2019, then that counts!
