Whole Foods' Nickels for Nonprofits benefits Foundation

CSDEF Logo When you bring your own bags to the Plymouth Meeting Whole Foods Market to shop, you can either receive a five cent per bag refund, or donate your refund to one of their featured nonprofit organizations.

Through September 30, you can direct Whole Foods to give those nickels to the Colonial School District Education Foundation (CSDEF) to go back into Colonial School District schools.

That's a lot of nickels that can add up to help the CSDEF fulfill its mission to generate resources for expanding and enriching programs that promote excellence in the Colonial School District. Past projects have included building and supplying the Innovation Lab in the Colonial Elementary School Library Media Center, funding professional development opportunities for teachers and paying for transportation to give students the opportunity to visit technology companies to see engineers in action.
