Ten PWHS students qualify for international HOSA-Future Health Professionals competition

Congratulations are in order for several Plymouth Whitemarsh High School (PWHS) students who placed at the 40th State Leadership Conference for PENN HOSA-Future Health Professionals recently in King of Prussia.

  • Julia Evan, Gabriella D'Alicandro, Lindsay Sutherland and Villanueva:
    4th Place Biomedical Debate

  • Cecilia Schmeltzer: 4th Place Medical Math

  • Nya Green: 4th Place Researched Persuasive Speaking

  • Grace Reger: 5th Place Health Career Photograph

  • Raven Phillips: 7th Place Medical Law & Ethics

  • Morgan Heffelfinger: 9th Place Physical Therapy

  • Chloe Wilson: 10th Place Pharmacology

All students scoring tenth or higher in their category qualify to compete at the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida, in June.

HOSA-Future Health Professionals is an international student organization that promotes career opportunities in the healthcare industry and enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. PWHS students belong to the local chapter through Central Montco Technical High School, where they take courses in the school's Allied Health and Healthcare Sciences programs.
