Practice begins Monday, July 29, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the East Plymouth Valley Park, 900 Germantown Pike. All parents are expected to attend the first practice. In August, weekly practices are held Monday through Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Beginning in September, both football and competition cheerleading practices are held three times a week. Sideline cheerleading practice is held prior to scheduled games. FLAG practice will vary and will be determined by the Coach.
All members of the coaching staff must be fully approved by the Spartans Board of Directors and have State background checks. They are all certified in the Heads-Up Football Program, which stresses the basics of teaching team and player fundamentals, safe tackling techniques, and strategies of coaching children.
NOTE: We are now accepting applications for football and cheerleading coaches.
In addition to the regular cheerleading responsibilities, select cheerleaders will participate in numerous area competitions as part of the Competition Cheerleading Squad.
