Bocce is one of three Special Olympics Interscholastic Unified Sports (IUS) programs supported by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association and the Pennsylvania Department of Education's Bureau of Special Education. IUS helps promote inclusion, acceptance and respect by providing opportunities for students with and without all types of disabilities to participate in sports meaningfully and by engaging other students in the school community.
