Plymouth Whitemarsh High School is one of the top 50 Best High Schools in Pennsylvania, according to the U.S. News & World Report's annual ranking list.
The magazine's rankings include data on approximately 24,000 high schools across the country. Nearly 18,000 schools were ranked on six factors based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college, according to the U.S. News & World Report website.
Plymouth Whitemarsh placed 46th in the state, and 35th in the Philadelphia metro region. Nationally, the high school placed 1,260th. On its scorecard, the school received a 92.94 based on the percentage of students who took an AP exam, percentage of students who passed at least one AP exam, graduation rate, and proficiency in reading and math. This is just the latest accolade for the high school. Earlier this year, the high school also made Main Line Today's Top High School list.
