7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

All incoming 9th grade and new students are invited to participate in this exciting program. Students will have a chance to follow their schedule, participate in the activities fair and enjoy a picnic lunch with teachers.

7:30-7:55 Registration: Receive your personal schedule and other important PWHS information.

7:55-8:15 Auditorium Welcome — Introduction to class sponsors, counselors and administrative staff

8:15-9:00 "Look at Us" — Guided Tours

9:00-9:05 Transition (Hallway)

9:05-9:15 BLOCK 1

9:15-9:20 Transition (Hallway)

9:20-9:30 BLOCK 2

11:50-12:30 Picnic Luncheon — Food, Drinks and Snacks will be provided for all participants.


Only transportation *to* PWHS will be provided for students attending the orientation program on Thursday, August 29, 2019. There will be three locations students can utilize transportation from this year.

Students can board a bus to PWHS from:

  • Colonial Middle School at 6:50 a.m.
  • Fellowship House in Conshohocken at 7:00 a.m.
  • Ridge Park Elementary School at 7:05 a.m.

Boarding for the bus will begin promptly at the scheduled times.

Registration needed! A student utilizing a school bus must register by August 16, 2019 by calling 610-825-1500, ext. 1906 or click here to send an email.

Students wishing to use their own transportation may begin arriving at PWHS at 7:15 a.m.

There is NO TRANSPORTATION home at 12:30 p.m. Students must be picked up at PWHS at 12:30 pm by their parent/guardian and are encouraged to car pool if possible.

Activities Fair

Many of our clubs & sports will have representatives on hand to provide students with information about their organization and answer any questions they may have about participating once school begins. PWHS Spirit Wear

Spirit wear and other school store items will be on sale during the Orientation and Parent/Guardian Night.

Can't Attend?

Students unable to attend the 9th Grade and New Student Orientation program on Thursday, August 29, 2019 will report to school as normal on the first day, Tuesday, September 3, 2019.

Parent/Guardian Night: August 28, 6-7 p.m.

Parents/Guardians: Please join us for an opportunity to meet Administration, Counselors and Class Sponsors. The evening will include information on the PWHS Vision and Goals, Post-Secondary Connections, Programs, Services and much more.
