  • PWHS Senior Aaron Rueter was named to the PMEA District 11 Chorus on Bass 1.

  • PWHS Senior Katie Smith was named to the PMEA District 11 Chorus on Alto 1.

  • PWHS Senior Nathan Cideciyan and Ninth Grader Sophia Somers were named to the PMEA District 11 Orchestra on Violin II.

Traditionally, the musicians would audition in person, participate in a three-day festival and perform a concert. This year, the students submitted their audition materials online and received feedback and a medal to honor their achievement.

"All four students demonstrate leadership on a regular basis and are exemplary music students in their school ensembles," said Jeffrey Cooper, PWHS Director of Choral Activities. "We are very proud of their example set for other students in the program."

PMEA District 11 covers Bucks and Montgomery counties.
