Plymouth Whitemarsh High School (PWHS) senior Nicholas DeVitis has signed a letter of intent to play lacrosse for the Colonels at Wilkes University next year.

A goalie for PWHS, DeVitis was a four-year varsity player for the Colonials. He also earned "Best JV Player" honors his freshman year. His lacrosse career began with the Headstrong Quakers when he was eight years old.

"Nick is a hardworking kid who handles his business in the classroom and the crease. He has really come a long way since I first met him," said Patrick Nolan, PWHS Lacrosse Coach. "It's unfortunate that this past season was cancelled and I wasn't able to see him progress even more, but I am really excited to see what the future holds for him — especially at the next level."

Nick is also an AP Scholar and Honors student at PWHS and is a member of the Spanish Club, Bowling Team and Steering Committee. He plans to major in psychology.
