The Colonial School District (CSD) was ranked fourth among the 21 school districts in Montgomery County and 153rd out of nearly 12,000 public school districts nationwide by Niche. The organization annually ranks the nation’s colleges, school districts, schools and communities. The school rankings are based on performance data, including SAT and ACT scores, graduation rates, diversity and surveys of parents, students and professionals.
Plymouth Whitemarsh High School (PWHS) was ranked 19th among public high schools in Pennsylvania.
PWHS is generally considered to be among the top high schools in the Commonwealth. The Washington Post and US News & World Report rank PWHS in the top four percent of high schools in Pennsylvania and top 10 percent in the nation. PWHS was also recognized as a Top STEM high school by Newsweek.
This was the seventh year Niche compiled its school rankings.
