Children often dream about what they would like to be when they grow up, and Colonial would like to help to make sure that students are exposed to a wide variety of careers throughout their education so they can better fine tune those dreams by the time they graduate.
Discover how students throughout the District are exploring careers at the next Colonial Community Coffee Hour on Tuesday, February 26, 9:30 a.m. in the District Office General Meeting Room on the first floor of Colonial Elementary School.
In this 40-minute presentation, you'll:
- Hear from Denise Marks, Curriculum Supervisor for Career Readiness
- Try out Virtual Job Shadowing: An online resource Colonial is using in grades 3-5
- Learn from some Colonial Middle School students about budgeting and preparing for the future.
- Find out how Pathways Manager will help students at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.
The presentation is followed by coffee and refreshments, as well as time to ask questions and speak with District administrators.
