Comprehensive Plan

The Future Ready Comprehensive Planning Process was developed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) to provide a consistent framework for all school districts as they plan for the future.

School districts must draft a new Comprehensive Plan every three years to address continuous school improvement in the areas of leadership, teaching, and learning. Development of the plan occurs over the course of several months through meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback, assess the District's needs, develop the District's mission and vision, and establish goals and objectives. Future decision-making is often guided by the Comprehensive Plan once it has been adopted by the School Board and approved by PDE.
