Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to Colonial School District! Kindergarten is a very exciting time in your child's life, but we recognize that entering school for the first time does create some anxiety for both parent and child. Colonial School District prides itself on providing an environment of collaboration, inspiration, and innovation for all students. Be assured that your child's teacher and building principal have worked together to create an educational setting that will ensure your child's intellectual, social, and personal development. 

We treasure your child and look forward to providing many positive learning experiences. Should you have a question or concern, never hesitate to contact your teacher, building principal, or me.

As your child steps through our doors on the first day of school, please know that we will make every effort to create an atmosphere for learning in which your child will feel comfortable, loved, and included. Our engaging curriculum promotes academic, social, and emotional growth for our youngest learners. Many opportunities to build confidence, form friendships, and deepen curiosity await your kindergartener. 

We recognize that as parents/guardians, you know your child best. We will work closely with you to ehlp make the transition to kindergarten as smooth as possible.
