Our advocates are an essential part of the communication pipeline, as they are some of the first people to hear about student and staff accomplishments and learn about new District initiatives. Armed with information, they can reach out to their families, friends and neighbors – especially the 80% of households who don’t have children in our schools – to share the Colonial’s accolades and explain the challenges facing the District and public education.

Help keep legislators in the loop about public education

Did you know that state funding for Special Education has remained stagnant since 2011 -- while state mandates about the services the District is supposed to provide continues to rise? That's only one issue facing public education in Pennsylvania today.
