Technology Education
In Technology Education classes, kindergarten through eighth grade students use a variety of technology tools to explore five core areas:
- Digital Citizenship
- Coding and Programming
- Digital Storytelling
- Creating and Designing
- Communication and Collaboration.
The Technology Education classes also emphasize a five-step engineering design process that has the students identifying problems and then brainstorming, creating and refining solutions.
At Plymouth Whitemarsh High School (PWHS), students can continue building their skills through hands-on courses in Product Design, Computer Aided Drawing, CNC Fabrication, Animation and Engineering Technology. PWHS also provides a rigorous series of Computer Science courses that offer college credit through dual enrollment.
