$56 per 7 class session ($8/class; full payment due by first class - 9/7) with six registrations required to run the class. $10 drop-in rate. *A minimum number of students is needed, or the session will be canceled.* A gentle form of yoga that includes yoga postures, breath work, and relaxation techniques. Some of the benefits of yoga are: improved strength, flexibility, and circulation, stress relief, and pain management, and a sense of calm and mental clarity. Per instructor: "We work with standing poses and floor poses. The instructor does her best to accommodate all people in the class by giving options for each pose so that each person can work within a range of motion that is appropriate for their body. The class strives to create a nurturing and non-competitive environment. The class has students with osteoporosis, hip issues, back issues, shoulder issues, etc. and will do its best to make sure they practice wisely and comfortably. The class also works on core strength in a gentle way and practice breathing exercises. Attendees should be able to get up from and down to the floor easily to attend this class."
