Tai Chi is simple, but not easy. Practicing Tai Chi can help reduce pain and increase energy and mobility. It helps to reduce tension and improves balance, coordination, and memory. It's not a magic pill though ... it takes practice and commitment. It's also beautiful and fun! The class begins with gentle, mindful qigong movements and continues into warm ups with a combination of Qigong and Tai Chi. The focus of our class is Yang 24 Forms. This is a universal form and the most popular. We take our time, pay attention to our body, and enjoy the learning process. If you would like further info, email taichilcd@yahoo.com. Always check with your doctor before participating in any exercise program. The fee for this 4-week session is $20 (pay as you go is not offered). A portion benefits the library.
